Hey there, awesome people! 👋 I'm super excited to finally drop this major update to my portfolio website. Say hello to version 3.0! It's not 100% perfect yet, but why not share the journey, right? Don't worry, version 2 and version 1 are still alive and kicking - you can find links to them in the footer.
The Origin Story
Back in 2021, I kicked off my portfolio journey, inspired by the legendary Agung Hapsah - one of my videography heroes who switched to coding. I thought to myself, "Hey, why don't I build my own website too?" That was the beginning of my first portfolio site, built from scratch with React.js.
Fast forward to 2023, I leveled up with version 2 where I discovered the magic of Next.js and Markdown. I had big plans to consistently post blogs (though I've only published a few so far... oops! But I'm not giving up! 😄)
2025: The Evolution Continues
And now, in 2025, portfolio version 3 is finally here! Major shoutout to Theodore Clarance and Adeola Adeoti for being incredible references for this version. My site might not be as cool as theirs yet, but their inspiration is absolutely fire 🔥
What's New?
This latest version keeps all the goodness from v2 but adds some serious upgrades:
- Frame Motion for smooth animations
- Velite for content management
- OG Image generation
- MongoDB-powered view tracking
